With a lifetime of musical experiences and the opportunity to discover herself along the way, Julie uses her songs to communicate the struggles and joys of gaining maturity. Glimpse EP

Kingdom Media recording artist Julie Roth is quickly gaining recognition as an up and coming artist you won’t want to forget. From subtle acoustic to edgy alternative, Julie’s forthcoming EP Glimpse is catching ears and turning heads.

Julie Roth’s lifelong passion for writing and performing music is clearly reflected through her lyrics and enthusiastic melodies. Combining her unique vocal style, with piano and guitar, she uplifts her audiences with lyrics that are honest and easily relatable. Using her gift of sharing music with others, Julie encourages listeners by elegantly communicating her love for music through energetic performances.

A 20-year-old native of Napoleon, Ohio, Julie began leading worship and performing original music for her church at an early age. Branching to other local churches and venues, Julie began playing her music for fundraising and organizational events. In 2004, an internationally-aired video show, Contact 29:18, featured Julie’s music and ministry on their weekly broadcast. Early recordings and live performances have been aired on radio stations such as WNDH and Toledo’s YesFM. Julie’s music was quickly embraced by several coffee-houses, such as Union Perk in Hillsdale, Michigan, as well as the college music scenes of Ohio University and the University of Dayton. Attending college and moving to Dayton, Ohio brought many new opportunities for Julie, including signing with Kingdom Media Records. Julie performed at Gospel Music Association’s 2007 GMA Week in Nashville, Tennessee, as part of a large showcase of new Christian music talent. Julie and Kingdom Media are currently recording a full-length album and will release the Glimpse EP on September 14th, 2007.
